It is a home production of Indian actor Ajay Devgan. The film is provided with piracy control according to Copy Right Act. Sadaf Entertainment have arranged for the movie's release in Pakistan and have made it sure that no fake CDs or DVDs of the film are being sold in market. The copy rights holder of the film Producer Najam Malik said in order to save Pakistani cinema it was mandatory to control piracy. Our films are successful because we take proper measures against their piracy, he added.

Advani appreciates U Me Aur Hum Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani is a movie lover. He watched Ajay Devgan’s U Me Aur Hum and appreciated Ajay’s potential of directing U Me Aur Hum and has given standing ovation to his masterpiece. U Me Aur Hum is slated to release on April 11 and before its release the Member of Parliament Ravi Shankar Prasad arranged a special screening of the film for L.K Advani. Also present at the occasion is Sushma Swaraj, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Karan Khanna, Sumeet Raghvan, Divya Dutta and other cast and crew. "The film touched my heart," said Advani after the screening. To appreciate the film, he along with others gave seven minutes standing ovation. He came with his wife Kamla to watch the film. U Me Aur Hum is Ajay’s directional debut and it deals with the problems, love and sacrifice of married couples. It is a romantic film about three couples – one who is unhappily married, another who is happily unmarried, and the third couple Kajol and Ajay, who has fallen in love and then face a lot of difficulties, yet stay together. Bollywood box-office report of the week 7 May 2008 Ajay Devgan's U ME AUR HUM is steady at places. The film gets the benefit of TASHAN's non-multiplex release, by way of good screens for an additional week. The film collected 70 lakhs from Bombay, 17.35 lakhs from Ahmedabad, 1.65 lakhs from Rajkot, 3.95 lakhs from Pune, 2.15 lakhs from Nasik, 21.40 lakhs from Delhi, 1.75 lakhs from Noida, 3.60 lakhs from Ghaziabad, 2.50 lakhs from Kanpur, 1.35 lakhs from Agra, 4.80 lakhs from Gurgaon, 3.25 lakhs from Nagpur, 1.55 lakhs from Indore, 2.15 lakhs from Jaipur and 1.05 lakhs from Mangalore. During the week U ME AUR HUM added another 3 crores and has so far netted 22.25 crores in three weeks from India. As we had said last week, the Ajay-Kajol starrer is now a below average to average fare from India. U ME AUR HUM is also a good success in the Overseas, grossing a decent $811,670 from the UK and a good $1,028,191 from US.

Tashan Flops In International Markets

Mr Black Mr White is poor with just 30 lakhs business in its first three days in overseas.
Tashan is a flop in the overseas markets. In ten days it has done 2.40 crore in UK, 1.75 crore in North America and 2.50 crore in the rest of the world. The ten day overseas total is 6.65 crore. It will end up with about 7.25 crore. FLOP
U Me Aur Hum has a 24 day total of 3.20 crore in UK, 4.20 crore in North America. Worldwide total is 10.50 crore. ABOVE AVERAGE
